Start in Sanctuary, then go to lower level MAPLE Room (former Chapel in Lower level)

Neighboring Faiths explores religious diversity in our world through visiting other faith communities and worshiping with them. For each faith tradition, there is an Introduction Visit or Visitor, Closing that compares basic information, and their take-aways from the experience.

The program:

  • Clarifies UU values and personal beliefs through a better understanding of the beliefs of others from Atheist to Fundamentalist.
  • Religions explored include: UU, Judaism, Islam, Christianity (including: Baptist, Catholic, Lutheran), Hindu, Buddhist, and Earth -based religions.
