SERVICES

From September through May, on Sunday mornings we offer two services, each lasting about 1 hour, followed an informal coffee hour. Both services are usually identical. The first is at 9:00 with church school for grades K- 3. The second is at 11:00 with church school for grades K-8 and Youth Group for grades 9-12. Children begin each service with their families, in the sanctuary, before moving to their classes.

Adult supervised childcare is available at both services for infants and pre-school.

From Memorial Day weekend through the Sunday after Labor Day, there is only one service at 10:00 with childcare and programs for children.

The format of our worship is similar to traditional Protestant services, but the content reflects our Unitarian Universalist religious values, drawing inspiration from many sources. We generally include music, hymns, readings, a sermon and an offering. Occasionally a service will be wholly devoted to music, drama or other artistic expression. Music plays an important role, and is provided by one of our many choirs or by guest musicians.

Dress as you’re most comfortable, whether that means a suit, or shorts and sandals. You’ll be most welcomed.  And do give us a try for several times, to see if it feels like a good fit for you.
